The Stern show was probably the worst place for Artie. I like the show but they're some of the most neurotic and narcissistic people on the planet, especially Howard. Nobody smokes, drinks or parties. They're all obsessed with weight, health and looking youthful. Artie doesn't fit in that type of social environment and it probably preys on his own insecurities (being told you're at death's door for yrs eventually gets to you). He should be hanging with the roadies for Motorhead
