How to Install kmeaw's PS3 CFW Part 1 [HD]

PLEASE WATCH IN FULL SCREEN TO SEE EVERYTHING

This is Part 1 of a step by step instruction on how how to install kmeaw's new CFW for the PS3. This now replaces the Usb stick jailbreak so that your PS3 is jailbroken all the time.

With this CFW you can use Backup Managers to Back up your games and play them from a hard drive.You can also run Homebrew also.

This files includes:

1) Sony's 3.55 Firmware update
2)kmeaw's 3.55 CFW
3)Backup Managers and the lv2.pkg

Please watch both parts all the way through before trying to attempt this. This is not hard in any way, but it is real easy to brick PS3's

i keep getting the "NO APPLICABLE UPDATE DATA WAS FOUND" message when i try to install the sony 3.55 update

just out of curiosity i tried to see if the 3.55 kmeaw would work, and it showed up.

would i be able to put the kmeaw on without putting sony's 3.55 on my system first? If not, how do i get my system to recognize the sony update?

Its not recommended by kmeaw, try using a differnt usb.

Did you go to recovery mode?

@DrunkinSknk I tried 2 different usb sticks and an external hd..no luck.

When I went to recovery mode it told me the the data was corrupted. I downloaded the update again and tried again. Same result.

Any suggestions?

its because of a shitty £1 usb stick i was using all is good now i used a branded one ^^

I HAVE A PROBLEM i put the official 3.55 on my memory card all set up right i have jailbroke before. and it says error has occured trying to copy the 3.55 to hard drive ,

heres another problem im on 1.70 firmware and recovery mode can only be accsesed 2.50 firmware and above what shall i do?

@DrunkinSknk yes. I tried it with caps and without caps and the only time it showed up was with kmeaw's update.. could it be because my ps3 is at 3.66
