well if u listen to it's words it could be abt a relationship thing... either way it's a good song stand up for what u believe in no matter what others try to tell u if your strong in what your believing in keep the faith everything happens for a reason in this life.

I love this song, it is so emotionally powerful! The Dixie Chicks did an amazing job, and I completely believe in free speech and standing up for what you believe in! I also love this song for other reasons, parts of it make me think of my own life and how you do forgive but you never forget.Thank you Dixie Chicks for being amazing women, and writing (and composing) this amazing song! :)

You ladies are wonderful roll models for all of young; You know we are in a war which no one will do nothing about..Check out the movie "Kiss me Goodnite," then, you-like the Dixie Chicks- who have a great insight that most people in this so-called free country lack, will see through the fog! I fought in war!, I know firsthand how it all works and how nothing can become something.Moreover, if they want more money for an agency in the gov., like the CIA or ect. they create a cause for it!
