A heavy duty yet reasonably sized case - the Trident Kraken II for the Droid Incredible 2 adds to a already impressive lineup of accessories available for the phone. A built in screen protector helps keep the screen protected without the frustration installing it, and the included belt clip holster adds a touch of flexibility in how you can carry the phone around with you. Those looking to purchase the Kraken II primarily for the belt clip may be disappointed, as it can best be described as "utility". The real beauty and quality of the Kraken II is in the rest of the case, inside and out.

  • Don't get the case. The holster broke after like a month (and i barely used it). The phone started breaking apart and I had to keep putting it back together. After less than 2 months I had to tape it up to keep it from falling apart. The sad thing is that I've only dropped my phone like 3 times since I got the case. Maybe I just got a bad model, but it was not worth the money

That's terrible to hear. If you still have your receipt, try contacting Trident directly for a warranty replacement. They're usually good on it and it's at least worth a shot.

  • How much bigger is the kraken 2 than the aegis? I have a aegis on my incredible 2 and love it. Just wondering about overall size difference.

  • @SuperCamo86

If we recall correctly, this particular Aegis was pretty big on the Incredible 2, however the Kraken II is huge. It's one of the biggest cases around for the phone, so we're not sure what your comfort zone is (since that's based from person to person), but it will bulk up your phone considerably.

  • why do all (not just you) phone review channels always have to use black on black for reviews? i want some damn color. lol

  • That's cool. I'm thinking about buying a kraken 2 for my inc2 just to have for when I'm outdoors hunting or offroading so ill have more protection since there is a higher chance of it getting damaged in those situations and keep my aegis for when I'm working or at home.

  • I was using the Otterbox Defender Case and switched to the Kraken today.

Otterbox Pros: Thicker more durable screen protector, better construction of case, better "dust covers" and rubber buttons for volume and sleep

Otterbox Cons: You can only get the boring black one, the hard shell is on the INSIDE, and the soft shell is on the outside, so the soft shell (over time) falls off very easily. Headphones don't fit into the hole as easily. Doesn't protect speakers, mic, and camera as well

  • Honestly I just checked this case and the otterbox defender to this in person and I got to say that trident case is way better it has also it has less silicone exposed so it is not going to attract as much dust, dirt, debri as the otterbox defender that just loves to attract all that. Good Review

  • That was pretty quick I ordered my kraken case it should be coming in the mail any day now.... thanks again FOR MAKING THIS VIDEO VERY DETAILED!

  • Great thanks!
