Zimbabwe's children turn to home-grown schooling

Things have improved in Zimbabwe since the formation of the unity government a year ago, but even the most basic infrastructure and government services suffer from a dire lack of resources. Schools have it particularly tough -- with up to 50 children per class, and one book shared between 20. Faced with that penury, some parents are turning to a growing number of private schools. Perhaps they need 2 give up Western education & return 2 their own - teaching by doing, not being talked at. Teaching kids 2 hunt, build shelter, sew, grow food. They should be fighting 2 free themselves from European-style states w/ taxes and "owning" land. They should be fighting 2 free themselves from foreign companies controlling their natural resources, privatizing water, polluting the rest. They should free themselves from money slavery and return to bartering between each other.

@bootylitiouspam Rhodesia used to be the breadbasket of Africa, and used to have one of the best education systems on the continent. If the African race behaves better (i.e. build up their countries as did Europe) they will receive more respect.

well you cannot say that you need a special system for your country since there is no one to do that. Whenyou have mastered the British system you can make your own one. It will take some time, but if you had been taking care of those children, they wil find it easy to learn.
