Hey SK, I was just wondering.. How much pads should I get and what type of paints do you use? Like other then the primary colors?

@123Kearns Hey, 123Kearn, thanks for the question. One or two pads or sketchbooks should be enough when traveling. Derwent makes good sketch pencils...so does Faber-Castell. I like working in oils and acrylics. Popular warm colors are as follows: Cadmium Red Light, Cadmium Yellow Light, Cadmium Orange, Permanent Green Light, Cobalt Blue, Red-Purple and Burnt Sienna. Let me know if you want to know your neutral and cool colors. Sincerely, SK

I hope you brought an art case big enough. How about carrying supplies that will fit in the purse, diaper bag, lunch bag...?

@sandr34 Thank you for your comment! Yes, all of my supplies featured fit nicely into my luggage. A Moleskine-type sketch pocket sketchbook or watercolor book might work well for you with a few of your favorite pencils, eraser, pens, travel brushes, watercolor or gouache primaries plus black and white, small, plastic watercolor palette and collapsible water bucket. Thanks again!
