You know the background music right from the beginning which doesn't sound like its produced by any instrument, its actually played by a piano, but playbacked in reverse. I think the composer is a genius to have put that in.

It's not about soul mates, it's not about opposites I don't think. It's bigger than that. It's about accepting reality, not running away from it. The film speaks about love, and that you have to be realistic toward it, but that shouldn't stop you from enjoying it, because it is life's greatest joy. You have to take the negatives, all the hell, but with them comes the good. The happy memories, the love. There's a price for it all, but this movie is saying that it's worth every bad memory.
