Girl education need of the hour

Discrimination against women has always been a part of so-called civilized society. Gurumaa draws our attention to the fact that women have never been given their rightful dues. Since birth, they are considered liabilities, to be married off as soon as possible. Social conditioning is so strong that not only parents, but the girl herself think that marriage is the only and ultimate destination.

Gurumaa encourages these young women to complete their education and become financially independent before they get married so that they can face any challenge that life brings. An educated woman has the freedom to think for herself. She can take decisions wisely and live with honor, dignity and self-respect.
