The Public School System: A Sinking Ship

The Public School System, run by the almighty government, is full of holes and corruption. Surprise! So what is our solution to fixing it? Throw money at it of course, because tax payer dollar will patch any hole, right?

This is great! Keep speaking out on the truth! I agree with everything you stated and have experienced it. Education in America is controlled by large companies making money off of your inability to pass a stupid-ass standardized test. The best thing you can do now is teach yourself and be mindful of the college extortion scheme too.

I'm not as in the knowing as most of the other commenters, yet I totally agree with you! I feel that the school system has developed this false power over the students. We pay the taxes which fund the school.. So arnt we the boss? They are loosing sight on helping students, but more so on money. The public school system needs adjustments!!

im an education major at a state college and i completely agree with you. Even at the higher levels of education its the same old song. Modern Education is a joke that is concerned with these contradictions such as Multiculturalism and diversity when in reality they champion against those very things. They're a monopoly, a monopoly on the education industry but also thought and morality. They suck

privatization of schools has been proven to produce schools that are no better thanPublic ones. the problem is race. schools have experienced a steady decline just as the diversity in the nation is on the incline. blacks andHispanics consistently score much lower than whites and asians. as the proportion of black Hispanic students grows, the school system will continue to deteriorate. the race gap will never be bridged because race is a reality and no one has the guts to make a eugenics program

Great job, keep speaking , I am with you. You are absolutely right ! We homeschooled our children on a shoestring , and it is the best thing we EVER DID !! Dismantle the crappy federal school system , defund them !!! We can do much better . BTW, my son got his BA when he was 19 , and my daughter graduated with a BA in history, Magna Cum Laude at a tiny fraction of the cost we spend on Fed. schools.

Government does not run the school system, but is run by social enginners tax exempt foundations. And is not corrupted but apart of the plan. Endowments and Grants are there biggest influence over the system.
