The lady clearly knew what she was doing with her mare, I've done foalings before and a little help is needed for the mare sometimes. . The mare was struggling so a little help does nobody any harm, congrats on the little one, what a beauty. the tail plait is used to keep her tail out the way. and i didn't think the tail plait was that bad either lol

@StarHorseLover1 the baby needs to breath and the mother needs to relax. what would happen if the mother just layed down to take a breath and the baby was still in the bag supphocating? only certian animals ALWAYS take the bag off their young.

You shouldn't have taken the bag off of the baby, the mother is supposed to do that.

Just to let people know, the little mare in this video was stolen from her field in biggleswade, bedfordshire on 17th february, the fence was smashed and the barn door ripped off its hinges and Pride and two piebald colts were taken. Please be vigilant, there are some very unscrupulous people out there!!... be safe Pridey, we are searching for you...xxx

After 3 weeks and much searching and a confrontation with "travellers" we now have Pride and our other two ponies home. /they are in dreadful conditon and sadly it seems Pride has lost the foal she was carrying. but with plenty of ttlc we hope they will heal physically and mentally.
