Howard passed away in 2004. Because of the hasty medical departure from his apartment, Howard's possessions and Art work were not secured. Through the smart eyes and art savvy minds of the people from the Lost Art Salon in San Francisco, some of his artwork was rescued from the world of flea markets. Lost Art Salon was kind enough to provide some copies of Howard's artwork, which are displayed at the end of this video. The following link will connect you with the Lost Art Salon and more examples of Howard's art.

Howard's second home and workplace was the Albatross Pub, which was down the street on San Pablo Avenue. Howards traditional spot at the bar is immortalized with his name. A friend, Ron Roizen Wallace from the bar wrote an excellent anecdotal reflection of his experiences with Howard which was posted on the web. The following link will connect you to that posting.

Thanks to Jerry Tritz, who made this all possible.
