  • Lol , a non - scientific way of showing just how much bullshit recycling is.

If you don't believe Me , just watch penn & teller's bullshit episode on that subject.

  • recycling IS bullshit in a matter of way,

    Metal and glass, make sense

    paper and plastic = bullshit

  • I have done research MORON!!! There are tons of people or organizations that claim recycling is BS, and guess who those people work for? The corporations that make money off of selling raw materials! Just because you've read ONE article doesn't make you an expert on anything. LEARN SOMETHING moron, don't allow people with an agenda to lead you around on a leash your whole life. Don't be a fucking sheep!

  • Your wrong!!! Do the research moron!!! It is worse for the environment and The New York Times proved it with something called facts. Trees for paper come form tree farms. They are grown for that reason. Do some research before you look this stupid again!!

  • Money is not the environment moron. Recycling keeps waste out of landfills, it reduces the amount of natural resources that have to be mined or harvested, it reduces the amount of materials that have to be processed from their raw state. Yes recycling costs money in some cases, but it's money well spent.

  • @idontcare80 We should pitch into the environment and be cautious but, the government has to stop the bullshit and tell the truth. Princeof excess is right on all accounts. we were fooled for decades now at the tune of 80billion dollars. The New York Times proved it.

  • you and me both. Im also afraid of fanatics that take their believe to such extremes that they wont even allow anybody to question them. We have people that think they are helping the world and their ruin scientific experiments breaking into labs and stealing animals (PETA they also kill 97% of animals they get) we have people who blow up buildings in the name of their god (Fanatic Islams) and we have people who want to recycle things that actually cause more pollution when recycled.

  • Ok, sorry. I'm just really tired of seeing people that don't really think things through, or just find any way possible to justify their lazy, wasteful, short sighted way of life. You seem like you might be a bit more open minded though, so kudos for that.

  • by calling people names you will never convince them. I am mostly talking about recycling plastic which comes from fossil fuel. Which is going to be transported to the plant anyways. We also make plastics out of corn etc Its good to have good will but doing things blindly ends up causing more harm to the environment and also is inefficient

  • So you're entire basis for saying that recycling uses more energy than mining new materials is because recycled material has to be transported? You're a freaking moron! How close do you think mines are to where the materials end up? Raw material comes from all over the world! How efficient do you think the 500 ton dump trucks that work in mines are? Do you not understand that the crap that comes out of the ground has to be refined and transported?
