  • why they show people from smilensk welkoming the germans and say that this is ukrainians?

  • I consider this so-called "documentary" as totaly shit, just because they are dragged into the light this old long-refuted Khrushevs propaganda that Stalin sat out at his dacha in the early days of the war, ostensibly fearing arrest. but unfortunately for Khrushchev and Western popagandists we have Kremlins visits record journal, which confirms that Stalin was in Kremlin at work all this days/

  • @gettincrazywithit

Let's talk about the 1930s, when Yagoda and Yezhov were the leaders of the NKVD.

For Stalin to balance the Party, the Economy, the Bureaucracy, the Civil War against the Kulaks, opposition from Trotskyists, Bukharinites, and Zinovievites, redistribution of the Urban West to Rural East, industrialization, collectivization, the central idea of Socialism in One State, stabilize, and modernize the USSR is nearly impossible.

Stalin had no time for trivial affairs.

  • @havee3333333 He was Berias boss, enough said....

  • Never mind, couldn't send anything since you have friend lock on.

  • @gettincrazywithit

What was Stalin's job? Secretary General of the CPSU. The only influence he had was over the party, which lead the USSR.

The Politburo wasn't symbolic, and I am deeply angered by this claim. What is your proof for this(please don't name the Great Purge as the reason)?

I have a feeling I know where this is going to go, so I'll send you some conversations I've had with other people.

  • @havee3333333 lolool Stalin the little Georgian with Napoleon syndrome was the definition of the word "dictator." The Politiburo was simply symbolic.

  • Note:This is supposed to talk about Stalin, the Nazis, and the West, yet about 90% of it was about Stalin, and they went on about unimportant facts that are taken out of context.

They criticize the USSR for creating a hegemony over Eastern Europe, but we should look closer at how hypocritical the west was.The British had an Empire stretching from South Africa to Burma, while all of the other Western nations had Imperial states of their own. This is completely bias and subjective against the USSR.

  • This documentary tries to make Stalin look incompetent and downright stupid, but they took much of what was said out of context. They didn't bring up the Politburo's role in the decision making, and they made Stalin look like a complete dictator. Getting away from all the Western Propaganda, Stalin's main role was with the party. It is true that he had a great deal of influence that he shouldn't have had, but that is because of his high level post.
