shooting downtown houston

shooting on 5/7/2011 in downtown houston. we were caught in the gunfire, because the police blocked off all roads right as we were passing by. we heard three gunshots and we got the hell out of there. it was behind the greyhound bus station and they said at least two police officers were shot.

@Chanocksanchez Why would they? Many of us are (more than you would think) licensed to carry weapons. In order to be licensed we have to go through a 10 hour class, qualification, background check, and more. Why leave the guns only in the hands of the criminals by banning us?

The laws are only followed by the law abiding. Gun free zones just mean places where shit like this can happen because we can't fight back. We aren't allowed to protect ourselves.

i watched the entire shoot out. it started at the greyhound then went behind mcdonalds for the third shoot out and then went to the parking garage for the end. about 30 cop cars were out. it was crazy. so many gun shots going on.

@BuffaloWarrior7 I'm not sure you understood what I said. I'm a strong supporter of the 2nd amendment, and in no way did I mean to imply I wanted to remove firearms from the hands of law abiding citizens. In fact, my comment reinforces what you said.

@MrStealyokill Yeah, I know. That's what I said. I, like I mentioned, hold a TX CHL, which gives me the authority to conceal a handgun. In this state, you need that license in order to do so, however, or else you'd be in commission of a class A misdemeanor or worse.
