I pray in the name of Jesus that every soaking center will be close. I pray that these new agers will be off the air.

I am stunned to see so many people falling for these 'new age' practices! Soaking prayer, contemplative prayer...whatever you want to call it, it is not a form of 'prayer' we as Christians should get involved in! God tells us to 'meditate on His Word day and night,' (Joshua 1:8) & we are never to 'empty our minds,' or repeat a mantra-like word to bring us into His presence. Clearly these practices are 'doctrines of demons,' & people need 2 seek God in His Word so they will not be led astray.

I got out of there and have repented of my error. My advice is to stay in the Word and stay close to Christ and you won't fall for this kind of garbage.

These are the same kind of nutjobs that will mail you their prayer cloths and "holy water" and tell you that God is gonna make you rich beyond your wildest dreams if you send in $1,000.00 or whatever. I did at one time attend services at a local church that bought into the whole Toronto Blessing tripe. Over time I began to wonder if perhaps what I was hearing and seeing lined up at all with Scripture. I have come to the realization that all that time, I was being duped into believing lies.
