@rudie328 It's not so much incompetence, as in the latest chapters in the manga she easily took down a few enemies sent by Hagall and the only reason she got hurt in the least was because she was in a closed in space and her spell was so damn powerful. It's just she wants them to go home to Asgard not to harm them.

In the second season she looks more feminine (her clothes not how she acts in the least). However she's more of a punch clock villain..... She's just usually good at her job.

Marller was easily distracted from her mission by Belldandy, she would like to pal around with the goddesses, but Hild would come and scare her back into line. Hild (the only other female demon we see) and the goddesses are quite willing to grant sexual wishes to male mortals, but marller seems very modest. What would she do if asked. She offered a wish to Keiichi's seniors but they turned her down.

@Supermanu15 Her usual look was almost boyish by comparison. Yes, I too applauded her new makeover. That, and her voice actress, Urara Takano, is a great, husky-voiced singer and is very funny when she loses her mind at someone.

Marla is my favorite semi-regular character in the OMG TV series, especially after she got a Nip/Tuck boob job and more revealing clothes for the hot springs episode in Season 2. She's got that mix of malice countered by her own incompetence, like Invader Zim.
