originaltbyrd, the point is all of us all ready have a preconceived idea because of our cultural and church experience. it isn't that the Holy Spirit can't guide, the Holy Spirit can only guide us UP to the place we know/understand our preconceived ideas. the idea all of Christ and nothing of us is a great goal...but honestly we don't even know where we begin and end. i lived in a foreign nation for nearly 20 years and learned to see things i had never even thought of.
drawing the x's at 2:40: he doesn't believe in the Holy Spirit guiding the "view of Jesus". everything about this man's teaching is man-oriented and natural mind oriented. he knows nothing of the Mind of Christ and if you follow him, you won't either.
What about the story that bbegins with God and then nothing. Then God creates the world and Adam and Eve. Basically this becomes a violation of his own conceptions that starts with Abraham but not God as the uncreated cause of truth and creation. Of course in the false accusations of fumndamentaqlism based on modernism-he takes a modernist turn that starts with Abraham and not creation as created by God
Which one comes first the chicken or the egg? It's a divine cycle The begining which is Christ and our end which leads us to the begining of all truths ...GOD in Genesis ,and the redemption story narrated in the whole BIBLE
