Well, it was bound to happen. The cancer has mutated and come back. I don't know what the treatment will be yet, but the doctor said he wants to keep a transplant "on the table." So here we go. Again.
Stay positive. I just went into a 2nd relapse for Lymphoma and having a second transplant myself..about the same age and from Australia. Turning my energy into raising awareness here and on national TV on Saturday.
thank you for all the updates. My heart plummeted when I saw the relapse title but you are a fighter! I am 37 and was diagnosed with myeloma last December.I am due to have a BMT on Monday 16th August. Your posts have inspired me to set up my own blog . I think the diary aspect of it will help me get through the next phase of treatment.
Keep positive and know that prayers are coming your way. God bless you and your family.
Hang in there! I was just diagnosed in May, 2010. I am a lot older than you. 61 years old. You have youth and strength and courage and your video is helping me tremendously! Get better.
I'm 17 and i've been battling ewing's sarcoma (bone cancer) for two years. been through two relapses and it looks like i'm heading towards remission once again, it's a tough road but cancer picks on the wrong people!. hang in there, i'm sending all my positive vibes your way!.. :)
Thanks for posting this. I forwarded it on to my brother, maybe he'll hear what you have to say and contact you. Everything you have gone through, he has too. But you're always about 3 to 6 months ahead. I hope he has the strength you have to carry on. You're an inspiration to everyone who sees your videos. I had wondered what was going on with you, since it's been awhile. . Hoping to hear from you real soon, again. Take care!
hang in there and good luck. We met on a roof on the LES. I look forward to meeting you again, same roof or another, after you've kicked its ass again.
You're tough as nails man. I was the editor that cut the interview that you did last week. It was a privilege working with the footage of you and Jenny. Your indomitable spirit will serve as an inspiration to anyone facing a battle of any magnitude. Thank you for your willingness to share your story. Strength.
