I once got to play with a single-manual sampling organ made by Viscount in the mid-80s. The thing even had an electric piano patch on it- very nice sounding.

I do not like how the transposer is so limited as on an Allen Organ, you have a total range of a 12 key transposer. Plus, there is no sustain feature on any classical organ, except on the new Lowrey Contemporary Orchestra church organ. On the new Allen organ, along with the new Lowrey church organs, they now have a color touch screen for more controls and features.

Oh my god, at a local second hand store for all kinds of stuff, such a thing was for sale for only 50 euros... I'm a guitar player and I've always wanted to play a key-instrument so maybe I'll try it tomorrow ... ;)

i just picked up a 1971 odean de luxe from a junk shop today. its a heep of fun. just wondering if anyone knows a rough value of it. its in pretty good condition.

I have an organ to practice on but it means a long car journey. Unless I could practice in my local church but I dont know how I would get permission.
