Longing For Dawn's songs are so deliciously mournful, I mean.. it's like waves of pure greyness rolling on your soul. This band create some atmospheres full of a crushing serene despair that twists your head, I love this dismal catharsis...

I mean... this paradoxically cures and pierces my soul, this is music when you feel deeply alone, when you have no true friends, when you have no love, when you suffocate on your own skin while you're free, too free...

Very cool take on doomdeath. To me it sounds like traditional early Anathema, but with a big hit of the progressive from diSEMBOWELMENT's "Transcendence into the Peripheral," which I always felt should have had more influence.
