Right... But if no political gains were made from the Vietnam war, it doesn't really matter if we did win militaristically. So all in all, we lost. You can't say that you got all but half of the questions right on a test and still say that you passed. Again, just the "overall" viewpoint. Losing is losing.

What are you talking about? We DESTROYED Vietnam, militarily they could not stand against us.
After Linebacker II and the Tet-offensive, the Vietcong was effectivly GONE, for all that we mention them, we DESTROYED them, the people who continued to fight us were either North Vietnamese regulars, or isolated partisans.
Militarily, we won the war, it was in the POLITICAL Arena that we lost it
For China, who oppresses its people and kills Millions? I don't see it even in politics.

@MCshlthead genius vietnam wasnt reall a stable country it was more of a group we were fighting, sort of like iraq even though we destroyed the iraq's repulicican guard in there weeks you know the elit fighting force who is trained better then chinas and has around 500,000 men. Lmao and also we couldnt finish vietnam do to protests and restrictions on our warfare, you need to learn about warfare before you comment back on me.
