actually the toyota supra would be the slowest. the other touring cars would be much quicker. dtm touring cars which this game is based on are much quicker then gt cars, those touring cars were at one point more technically advanced then f1 cars.

I always found this game to be a lot of fun, and I don't even mind the physics. But one thing that AM3 should have fixed in the Saturn version is the framerate. It was terrible, and it made driving very difficult at first. Eventually you get used to it.

I've had Sega Rally, Daytona USA and this game for the Saturn since i was a kid. But this game was the beast i never could beat. Even though i played it with the 3D pad it was immensely difficult. Though when growing older, my brain started to be able to catch up. you can't imagine how awesome it felt when finally unlocking the Sega Rally cars. I was so happy i cried. :D

@steviegbcool it's all lies.. the calibra is the slowest of the four.. but has the best acceleration and excellent draft, the alfa is pretty much the same but a bit more balanced and the supra and the mercedes are the ones that pwn.. the only bad thing about the supra is that it's the hardest car to master cuz of it's handling but if you do you'll be awarded with very fast times I can tell you

So this game is about Sega Rally and Daytona USA cars are together in this championship race?

@JohnMarineTube The PC version is atrocious.. at least out of the box. Get the DirectX patch and it becomes the closest thing you can get to the arcade. It still isn't perfect, but it's pretty good, especially when played through a CRT television. It's also cheap as hell, too: )

What I learned about these classic Sega racing games is to drive clean to finish 1st. Even one just one wall hit is enough to make you lose. These games are challenging indeed.

yeah, it's from martin luther king
-
It's a section of Martin Luther King Jr.'s last speech (commonly referred to as his "I've Been to the Mountain Top" speech) before he was assassinated.
-
Also, on a completely unrelated note, does anyone know what the sampling is at 1:12? Sounds like a speech.
Thanks, except for my bad driving!
