@fbendz hey, man, ignore that sound and just listen, IMO the first albums are the best :) I don't like dull sound on albums too, but I try to ignore. Listen to Manilla Road's Open The Gates. So freakin' dull, but I really enjoy that album. The real thing that pisses me off is when albums sound distorted, like Metallica's Death Magnetic or Living Colour's Collideøscope. I just DON'T WANT to listen them due to the very loud and distorted sound.

@SgtZaqq Eveyone is entitled to their opinion. In my opinion, the oriiginal production sounds like they are playing in the wardrobe. The drums sound very "empty". Not like the production in, say, Warriors of the World. I rarely listen to the first Manowar albums because of the production. The songs and the playing are good, but it doesn't sound good due to the production.
