  • Was this colored after it was filmed or the stage looks B&W on purpose?

  • No ...it was definately filmed and broadcast in colour .

  • Aw, Resendiz, you had to leave the same comments on BOTH copies of this video? You never said WHY Jack is "killing" this song. I love all three of these legends, but Jack is truly the most gifted and most technically accomplished of the three. His voice truly DAZZLED at that age, and the three of them make a fun musical number out of that point. It's all very ENTERTAINING.

  • Haha! Well ... Jack Jones more technically accomplished than Peggy Lee?? I think even Jack himself would blink at that suggestion ! Peggy was ...and still is ..one of Americas Greats , along with Sinatra and Ella . As you say , though , this number was all about entertaining .

  • It's unlikely. Contrary to popular belief, Dean Martin rarely drank. The boozing and acting tipsy was just a stage image.

  • If i would try getting that close to a woman while singing i would surely get slapped! Learn from the master!

  • I loooooooove Dean!

  • Peggy looks great in this clip

  • @puglet7 In regards to vocal technique, Jack Jones is easily ahead of Dean, Peggy, Frank, Bing, Bennett, etc. He is a bit higher in voice classification than the previous, so his voice naturally carries less richness

than the above male singers (baritones).

In regards to this video, the key is bit too low for Jack, but he is comprimising for Dean and Peggy.

He could also be a bit nervous/overwhelmed by icons. Sinatra was always noticibly in awe of his idol Crosby when they sang together.

  • dean martin was always drunken!

  • wow thats amazing.... i'm 19 and i love this.... nowadays all you hear is autotuned voices =/

  • What's tenderDean Martin <3

  • Those two looked at Jack and thought 'Give him a few years..' Jack looked a little nervous. So young. But boy, what a voice ?!! Great post puglet7

  • @lotusbuds2000 boy, you took the words right out of my mouth. it's a treat to see this.

  • oh my goodness..I'm in heaven..three of the very best this world has to offer in song..and total loving humor....thank you!! for posting...

  • Very entertaining. Especially the part where Jack and Dean become bromantic. That's right - bromantic - much to Peggy's consternation.
