@Maus5000 the HS293 warhead had some 300Kg of explosive. The Panzerfaust 30 klein did the same job with only 0.4Kg of explosive. This means the HS293 had enough power to blow up some 750 shermans.
Seems like a bit overkill.

@BlitzWotan Of course I don't endorse the war or killing people from any side. Mine is only an acknowledgement of the German technical skills, be it a guided bomb or the Mercedes Benz.

@traxel14 Well, guess anyone can only agree with it. Sounds like some epic fail.
Perhaps your Danish neighbors were smart at not joining in to the EU club, weren't they?
Well, hope things got better for you guys up there. Cheers from America.

Yes you are right
As a matter of interest, the is the story that Hajo Hermann, wanted his own squadron of H177 to intercept allied convoi`s. Interesting senario 20 H177
with glide bombs - therefore i uploaded video of Kondor attacking.

To take out a sherman with one of those would be an overkill de luxe. However, they should released far more resources to these weapons as they had proven themselves effective. Expensive programs like V1 and V2,etc, etc, was little more than good for the fuhrers eyes...

what if this bomb and the fritz X were used as percision bombs for both tactical and strategic use? It would be cool to see a He 111 Launch one of those at a t-34 or sherman :) one of these could have probably taken out important buildings during daylight raids too. bye-bye

Germany in WW2: the best engineers...and the worst politicians.

@gonzalo060375 Yes, but we still are nr. 1 in having the worse politicians worldwide! No one can beat us as having loads of money for countries that have cheated themselves into the EU, etc.... In Germany you have to pay loads and loads of taxes, that are used for everything, just not what they are supposed to be for ! I´m sick and tired of it!
