NOTE: I made this video in order of the progress of her training. There are pictures AND video footage but most of the video is in the middle to the end. Swiss is an Icelandic mare bred and born in California and brought to Texas. She needs a good home! Reason for selling, we just can't give her the attention she deserves and I'd love for her to go to someone who will use her full potential! She has a lovely tempermant and is very willing. No vices, quick learner. She just needs a job to do and a partner to do it with. Enjoy the video! Email snibbitc@yahoo.com if interested. Thanks!

  • does she have the icelandic gait?

  • I don't know... she should. Both her parents have it. But I don't know much about Icelandics to ask for it or anything.

  • interested, but also have 8 other horses, does she get along?

  • With other horses? Yes. She's been in a pasture with mares and geldings and a donkey.

  • if you want her to tölt/tolt, you should do it with a different saddle or bareback..the horse must have room for the leg movement in tölt..There is special saddles for icelandichorses..She is really cute..and I think she can tölt...most icelandic horses can..
