Just a Latin-American Boy
I am just a latin-american boy
Without money in the bank
Without importat relatives
And comming from the inland
But I bring inside my head
A song from the radio
In witch an old composer from Bahia
Tells me that everything is divine, everything is wonderful
I've been listening to a lot of records
Chating with people
Walking my way
Talk, sound, inside the night
And I don't have a single friend
That still believe in this, no
Everything changes, and with a good reason
I am just a latin-american boy
Without money in the bank
Without importat relatives
And comming from the inland
But I know that everything is prohibited
By the way, I meant to say that everything is allowed
Ultil I kiss you in the darkness of the cinema
When no one sees us
But I know that everything is prohibited
By the way, I wanted to say that everything is allowed
Ultil I kiss you in the dark of the cinema
When no one sees us
Don't ask me to write a song like it should
Correct, white, soft, very clean, very light
Sounds, words, are razors
And I can't sing like I should
Without hurting anyone
But don't worry, my friend
With the horrors that I say to you
This is just a song
Life is really diferent, I mean
Life is much worst
I am just a latin-american boy
Without money in the bank
Please, don't draw the gun in the saloon
I am only the singer
But if after singing you still want to shoot me
Kill me soon, in the afternoon, at three o'clock
Because by the night I have an appointment witch I can't miss
Because of you all
I am just a latin-american boy
Without money in the bank
Without importat relatives
And comming from the inland
But I know that nothing is divine
Nothing, nothing is wonderful
Nothing, nothing is sacred
Nothing, nothing is mysterious, no

Even kissing you in the darkness of the cinema".
