Yes, I've actually asked him about the deeper meanings behind his builds in IM, but didn't learn a whole lot. He did impart that there's a "darker side" to the sims, and when asked about the stacked chairs he said that they were symbols of an event left unfinished/uncorrected. It's all quite mysterious.
