  • Hey, Sixties, I am 95% certain that this clip is from Shindig in 1962, not 1965!

  • @IkeDyson71 Sorry, but you're wrong. There was so Shindig in 1962. (The show started in September 1964 but there was a pilot, too, broadcasted in July the same year.) This clip is from Episode #50, which was broadcasted on September 1, 1965. I know the sources of 99 percent of my clips, but I don't mention them unless someone ask me.

  • @SixtiesPopGold

Okay, good thing I left 5% up for grabs.

Damn. This means the famous clip of him singing "Please Please Please" on Shindig is also not from 1962, as everyone posting it has stated.

    I stand corrected!

  • @IkeDyson71 Better luck next time, LOL! "Please Please Please" is from the same episode.

  • I have to laugh at the reaction to Elvis Presley's hip shake. Parents must have had a brain aneurism and a heart attack to James.

  • @KNIGHTLNDNLS this was really a ........ superb performance...
