The design is completely controlled by the car makers. They make the car use gasoline above 45 mph speed range automatically instead of allowing the driver to decide it. Otherwise, you can haul some extra batteries behind sharing the main battery's load with a single wheel truck which of course would allow space for luggage as well for a longer trip. The single wheel truck can be balanced with the electric car, right? If not, how about a two wheel truck then?

Cool Video!

no, its a ford escape, with a mazda decal on the front

the outside isn't as jazzed up, but they do have the best looking symbol. it's the cheapest of the three for the same car, but most likely because they didn't redesign the outside of the car much, just refine it's look.

its a ford exploder built by mazda, but i believe gets better mpg, and cheaper

Pathetic.

Thank you! What the major auto companies aren't willing to do the new upstarts like Phoenix Motorcars and Tesla will do - produce and sell zero emissions electric vehicles.
Well said! Hybrid vehicles, at best, are just a token effort. The oil industry will never allow real electric vehicles, hence the scrapping of the EV1 and Chevron buying the rights to the nickel metal hydryde batteries so Toyota and Honda couldn't continue with their electic SUV's. Screw the oil companies! I'll keep experimenting with HHO units thanks.
