RNC St. Paul 2008 Police attack young girl without cause

I shot this the last night of the RNC 2008 in St. Paul. I caught this footage after a long standoff near the Capitol between police and protesters.

The police completely shut down the entire city- all bridges were closed and blocked by hundreds of police and snow plows. Police were indiscriminately arresting peaceful protesters and journalists. This clip was shot after the police had arrested all protest leadership (without cause, they did a quick "dive in" to the crowd).

When this footage was shot, the police had broken everyone up. Protesters were scattered throughout the Sears parking lot. Police and national guard were rolling around in bands. I started following a group of cops- I didn't know what else to do. Everyone was running scared. That is when I captured this video of them randomly targeting a 17 year old who was just trying to get away.

where you at these protests? the police ordered everyone to disperse west. from the capital, that is where we were- west. she was headed west. the police illegally arrested over 400 people and 60 journalists. because of the illegality of the police actions, all charges against journalists were dropped. this girl is a "young girl" she was is 17 and was trying to find her friends.

I am in for peaceful stuff but every time I see this shit just makes me want to smash their heads in and I will not feel sorry for them at all. I try to tell myself they're just as brainwashed as many of us civilians but this is just too much, the abuse and bullying is beyond comprehension, it seems to me they get satisfaction by being overpowering and abusive towards others. This are not only cops beating citizen's in isolated events. It is really emerging that a police state has been overthrowing the real government. That means the president has no power over it.

He can just stand there, play along or get a bullet in to his head.
