Well folks, after years of being an "Anti-Mormon", I must confess that I've come to see the light of truth about The Church of Jesus Christ of latter Day Saints and The Book of Mormon. The Book of Mormon is TRUE!! I found evidence of the Lamanites at.......... of all places???
HOME DEPOT! ! They sell "LAMANITE flooring and counter tops!! and, if you wish them to install it for you, they'll send dark skinned people to you home to do the installation!!

Well, after all he was a conman, complete with his magical paraphernalia from magic charms to magic rocks.
His magical mindset is still in Mormonism today, from fortune telling via the stake patriarch, to the wearing of magical underwear which protects one from evil, to magical spells which must be recited exactly so in order to be efficacious (see wording and signs in the endowment and other Mormon ordinances)
Yes, the magical world of Mormonism is something else.
