Horror Home; 15

I stood in the doorway looking over my brothers lifeless, limp, cold body. Macey stood over him, tears pouring down her cheeks and she collapsed and knelt next to him, a feeling of guilt washing through out her body. I turned away, just as the first of a sea full of tears fell, I stumbled towards Kevin's room. I stood outside trying to sniff up the deep tears that were undoubtedly stronger than I was. I fell forward into his door, within a few seconds the door opened, to see Kevin, tired and confused, he took my weight.
'Nick? What's .. what's wrong?' he asked concerned. I sat shaking my head violently, I couldn't speak, there was no way this could ever be spoken about. There was another earth shattering scream as Steph discovered what Macey and I already had. Kevin looked straight into my eyes, piercing my skin I sat afraid. Kevin shot up, leaving me sat on the floor on my own. I sat there as I heard the deep, loud sobs from my older brother. Joe, he was the only one that hadn't found out. I sat listening as there were footsteps and whispers, sobs and collapsing people. My head started to spin and I let it fall backwards, unable to control my own body. There she was Rosalina, hovering over me as she had done a few times now.
'I told you not to leave him, and now look what's happened,' she hissed at me, I stayed where I was, I didn't care anymore. 'Libby,' she whispered. I shook my head and looked back at her. 'Yes,' she uttered nodding her head. I found the strength and pulled my head forwards.
'She wouldn't do something like this!' I half shouted back, sighing and letting my head fall back yet again.
'She was earning your trust, so you wouldn't think it was her,' Rosalina said before finally disappearing. My eyes shut tight and I was met by the darkness that haunted me where ever I was. I was woken soon by the sounds of sirens, Kevin appeared at the door, his eyes red and puffy from the tears that he had let fall.
'They're taking Frank now. They said to say goodbye while we're at home -- in our own comfort,' he said sniffling back a few tears. I stood up and wavered for a few seconds, collecting my thoughts and regaining my balance. I followed Kevin down the stairs and into the hallway where Frankie's body lay still, only his head showing, his eyes closed loosely, he was peaceful now, he was silent, it wasn't right, this isn't him. I stood looking at him until I found the courage to move forwards, I brushed the hair out of his face, as a tear committed suicide and landed on his cheek. I touched his now pale cheek with the tips of my fingers, his skin so soft and flawless. I bent down to touch my lips against his forehead, so cold and lifeless. I felt an arm wrap around me as I moved backwards and let the new tears fall down, there wasn't anyway to explain this. This wasn't supposed to happen, not today, not ever. Joe sat in silence in the living room with me, neither of us able to talk or sleep. The memory of the silence that had washed over Frankie too much for anyone to talk about, no one allowed into the room it had happened until the place was processed. They searched for an explanation, there was no need, I already knew it and I knew they wouldn't find anything.
