Cube 2 Hypercube carefully synched to South Park's "I'm Super" by big gay al. Every shot is intentionally lined up with the lyrics at that point so pay close attention. It's very carefully structured and I think some people rated it low--even not worth watching (under three) because they're not paying full attention and think I just threw some random stuff together. Keep in mind I'm a schizophrenic who often sees random stuff synch up, so the purpose of this stuff is try to make that fun experience obvious for other people to see.

Lyrics Synchs:

When Simon and Jerry are taking their clothes off, the point is 'when you're gay' means they're doing something a little gay, as when Kate is hugging Sasha parodying the sorta gay thing going on between them, and the sorta gay ditsy smile that that Mrs. Paley puts on.

When Jerry falls to the ground, this synchs with "when you're down." When Julia looks strangely at the coat she found, this is synched to "the hat I found at Bob's." At the part where they're helping the military guy up, the lines are sort of synched up to the people talking.

The phrase "I'm so sorry / Mr. Cripple / But I just can't feel too bad for you right now" is synched to max being happy then the shot of Julia with a horrid look on her face, then Kate blinking then leaving the room is "I just can't feel too bad for you."

"Children are crying" is at the part where Kate is comforting Sasha ("she's just a kid" she says later), and "politicians are lying" is Simon stepping forward. "Cancer is Killing" is supposed to be the white wall attacking the military guy. Etc etc

  • @SquishToGo Haha, dude, you gotta watch the whole thing! If you are, start the music as soon as the movie starts. All songs in order, not shuffled. But since there aren't any lyrics, l don't think it matters where it starts I guess. If you wanna put something on Youtube, I'd suggest a scene where zombies are attacking the crew. DK music works with any mood haha.

  • @Mechamortal I think I'd have to do something a bit more that simply lay over the music... I mean I synced this up absolutely tediously and a ton of people still don't like it... I can never figure out youtube =(

  • Haha, I like the Mr Cripple part at 0:36. Now, listen to the entire Donkey Kong Country 2 soundtrack to Resident Evil Extinction.

  • @Mechamortal Please... don't... challenge... me....

  • @Mechamortal Alright I changed my mind I'm gonna do it. The whole thing might be bananas but I can do my best to mix them up for the maximum video length. I'm open to suggestions. Any suggestions. Any.

  • @krystal3091 It just depends on what you like. It's like when Metallica "sold out" to change their style of music to a more generic type. It stunk for the fans of their older stuff, but they might as well have started off with that style in their garage days. All the Cube takes focus on different elements that don't really make a coherent series or set. It's kind of like the same actor type-cast in a bunch of different movies.

  • @krystal3091 The first film actually was based off an on-stage play, where you can't shift settings too much, hence the setting of the characters being in the same room all the time with just differently colored lights. It had to be interesting enough thematically to keep attention without many (or any) effects at all, so interestingly, the first film's job was already to give the play a "bigger budget", which got even bigger in Cube Zero, though by that point everything but the effects dimmed.

  • @TheFamine123 no all rooms are white and @MrFlynnard it's about people who wake up in a large cube shaped room they meet everyone in the first 1/4 of the movie and they are trying to escape people die and the rooms are trapped(some) others aren't so ima spoil a bit and say one person survives
