I have a Gaveau from 1887, and i never really paied attention to it, but i started learning guitar and i looked at the piano and thought "Why not?" and then i found your wonderful lessons and start playing too! Im really in love w u and w the piano ahah
I'll keep practising despite the piano isn't really tuned

i thought on some previous lessons you had all major scales as: tone, tone, half-tone, tone, tone, tone, half tone; and all minor scales as: tone, half-tone, tone, tone, half-tone, one and a half tone, half-tone. As long as one remembers that, why would one even need to know the circle of fifths? sounds more like the circle of death...as in killing people's interest in learning piano 'cause it's confusing...

Confused about the circle of confusion!

You think the piano is complicated?
Try translating music language to the guitar fretboard.
The piano makes everything easy by comparison.

what is the point of double sharps? if the composer had the note G and wanted to double sharp it why wouldnt he just put an A down on the sheets? wouldnt that make alot more sense and make it less complicated?

ah, but what if you are playing in A# minor and you need to raise the leading tone up on the harmonic minor? that's when you'd need a double sharp.

why is everything with the piano so complicated... I just want to play songs without all the mumbo jumbo confusion of death I mean oops circle of fifths...
when I first started playing the piano I was very excited... but as I go further into it it feels more like work than it is play.. I learn more in 3 days just from watching tutorials on youtube than I have in 10 piano lessons.. I don't exactly want to be able to play every song... I just want to be able to play the songs I want

that's a good goal, my focus is to just present information, there's no need to be strict about it, if you don't want to learn the circle of fifths yet, skip ahead and get info on the topic you need help with. It can be a lot of work, but it's the same as anything else, anything that is worth something is going to take work to achieve.
