I paid $2000.00 for a SAMSUNG TV that did not last for 2 years! I started having trouble with it powering on, then pink pixels dotted all over, then vertical colored pixels all over as seen in video. Now no TV at all, doesn't even turn on, so we are watching my 12 inch JVC that is 15 years old. By the way Samsung customer service nor their corporate office in New Jersey will help you. Talked to numerous people, have been placed on hold, given voice mails with no return of phone call, oh also chatted on line with customer services-Ha, Ha don't waste your time. Next step BBB in New Jersey!

  • I had this happen on part of my TV and I called Samsung and they said it wasn't a capacitor and my warranty was 6 months past the 1 year timeframe. Now what?

  • @asszone69 I took the back of my tv off, if the capacitors are buldging then you have bad capacitors. I watched a video on youtube describing how to take the back off of the tv. There are quite a few capacitors, maybe 8-10, I had 4 that were buldging. It took me many, many phone calls, letters, then after 4 months they agreed to pay for the tv. It has been working fine since the tech replaced the capacitors with larger capacitors. Good Luck

  • did you get this fixed? It is bad capacitors, an easy fix at home.

  • Yes, I took the tv apart and had four bad capacitors. After many phone calls to Samsung they sent someone out this week. They replaced the capacitors at no charge and tv is working great! Keep on calling Samsung and be persistent!

  • Do not have any problem.

The product made in Korea is normal in this.

  • it's koreactronics

  • That's too bad.

    I have 2 Sam's. 52/37-650 series. The 37 stays on 24/7, so far over 2 yrs straight.

Not one thing has been an issue with either.

Knock on wood lightly here, but I think it may be the temp in general in the room/dust.

My shop is usually about 55/60 degrees.

I regularly take the Dyson with brush and suck off the venting on the back.

A lot of heat vents out, drawing in cooler air at bottom.

If these are getting boxed in, restricting air, may have to force filtered air in.

    Heat kills

  • Hahahaha you are going to complain to the BBB....silly human, they are no better than Samsung

  • My father had a samsung TV, and it didn't even lasted a year and a half. Earlier this year, the screen started flickering intermittently, The first time, it was still under warrenty, so they fixed it for free. But here's the thing. The TV broke again a few months later. The second time it happened, they screwed my father over and they charged my father money. Yet, I still have my old DLP TV that's like 6 years old and it's still working.

  • same problem with my 42 inch plasma fuck never buying a plasma again much less samsung ,

  • FUCK SAMSUNG SHIT! ONLY SHARP .

  • My 46 inches samsung tv has exactly the same problem and it just got off of the warranty. The lesson earned was: Samsung NEVER MORE.
