Testing out my canon vixia HG20. Edited in After Effects. Shot with stock lense. Settings was set at aperture priority AE F2.8/frame rate PF24. the upload quality is alright but it still looks clean to me.

  • go to your on screen menu. select aperture. when its selected go to your main screen then move the little joystick up or down to scroll through the options. you should know what to do then.

  • how did you render it in after effects when i render it plays it in slow motion?

  • i have experienced that as well. what i did to correct that was change the file type i was saving. then change the frame rate or frames per second. i believe that is the crucial part of rendering out your video. there are tons of videos on youtube about rendering your footage for viewing. thats how i learned to do mine. hope this helps.

  • did you use the harddrive or SD card?

How did you get the mts. file to work???

  • how did you set the aperture? i have been looking all over the place for a description on how to do it, but i just cant figure it out. the manual that came with the cannon vixia hg20 wasn't very helpful, so i would appreciate your help :)
