Must be a Kiwi flat white...Aussies don't need knives and such to hold back foam, if it's textured right, just a straight pour job will do..

@daveoxxxx I wish more people knew this especially some cafe owners :( some times they're like used the spoon and i'm like but i can do it with out it :p
but i guess back when this vid was loaded the techniques weren't as technical as it is now

Ok, u shouldnt post this video, coz it clearly shows u got no idea what u talkin about. I mean knife???? WTF is that? Use the steamer properly, and get the right texture. I'm a barista, I know what I'm talkin bout.
any 'barista' holding back foam with a spoon or knife simply doesnt know what they're doing. harsh...but true.

Recently visited Auckland and found your great cafe. Every flat white I had in New Zealand was excellent.
