I was born with Craniosynostosis and i had an operation with a Zig-Zag scar on the side of my head from ear to ear. The surgeons had to lift parts of my skull off and pu them back together in a more fitting shape. I suffered from Mental Retardation before the op. where i could only say 3 words . . ma, da and no. Now im 14 and in a Grammer School with straight A's

I was born in 87 and got my surgery in 88. My cousin's son has craniosynostosis. I have the ear to ear scar and recently have been cutting my hair short. I hate people asking why I have no hair where my scar is... I met a surgical tech at the hospital I worked at and she did something no one else did- she admired my scar. After I told her what it was from, she said that what I had was something to show.

Headache is basicly a sore head inside. Mainly worse lying down. Yes the two contries have very different ways of looking after there patients. In England they would only ever do more surgery if it was really needed. In England they stick to the traditional surgery as appose to the strip or endoscopic.
