can the bejeweler be used on leather (genuine/ faux) fabrics?

Fantastic and easy to understand! Just enough detail.

What size are the rhinestones you used?

Thanks for this vid! What's good to use for the protective layer underneath? Would wax paper do? Would you need something thicker, like parchment or card stock?

Wax paper might not offer enough protection especially if the material you are working on is thin. The glue from the Hotfix crystals can melt through the surface and stick to the paper on the other side. Parchment would be better. We used a small self healing cutting mat intended for sewing and quilting. If the glue melts through the fabric, the stones just pop right off of the cutting mat. A metal surface such as a cookie sheet would work well also for larger projects.
