On January 13, 2011 the city of St. Petersburg, Florida signed a Twin City Agreement with Figueres, Spain, birthplace of Salvador Dali and home of the Teatre-Museu Dali (Dali Theater and Museum). The delegation from Figueres included: Francesc Canet, Vice-Mayor; Richard Elelman, Deputy Mayor; Councillor of Culture and the Environment; Joan Antoni Bertran, City Councillor, International Relations. Presenters for the City of St. Petersburg: Jim Kennedy, Council Chair; Bill Foster, Mayor ; Elizabeth Brincklow, Arts and International Relations Manager.
