i think the really "shocking" thing is that the picture frame is obviously not a real one. It puts thoughts of "artificial","modern", while we're watching dreaming scenes. imho :p
And very good paper style effects !

Love the old photo look (contrary to what another user commented), gives it an incredibly nostalgic feel.

thanks everyone!! I hope to post progress on a short me and 5 vfx peoples are working on...a little less socially driven...more eye candy style. But Fun! This project was a fantastic chance to use some of the wicked footage from Heima, in addition to legally using SR music. Thanks again to their production crew, Dean DeBlois and the Band.

THANKS ALL!! I created this short with loads of Photoshop work, After Effects, photography, Premiere Pro and a bit of free time. My goal was to submit a more subtle piece that focuses on "how" its presented--focus pulls, sound elements, hispeed photography, and the biggest element...time. Weta? if you can get me a job there, id take it! They are my favorite studio right now...i work for their rival in LA. I have received so many personal emails and comments--thanks to you all!
