Friday, I wore my beat-down Florsheim penny loafers with the crushed backs. Monday, I wore my new Weejuns, bought for $44.00 at the Zappos Outlet Center in Kentucky (what a deal!)

Now comes the fun of breaking them in and trashing them so that they look like my first pair of Weejuns (1978-1986), shown at the end of the video in July of 1986 when they were completely trashed by 8 years of constant wear. Now, I wish I'd kept them. They looked so hot

  • btw; get the movie '"Return to Macon County" starring Nick Nolte. I was hard all the way through that flick. He's wearing a trashed pair of black loafers that are so loose. I think the photographer had a shoe fetish because some of the shots are on Nicks feet. I stop actioned some of the scenes, enlarged and shot wads. And he is really sexy in his tight blue jeans and white T shirt. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOT.

  • @MrMikecarpino I've got that one on tape. I love the part where they're running out of the store and he nearly loses that left loafer jumping in the car, and the part where Bo and Harley are fighting and his loafer flies off, and he stomps off with one white-socked foot. I always wondered if those were Nick Nolte's own personal shoes, or if he grabbed them from a thrift store or the wardrobe department, and if they were already crushed down like that when he did.

  • Love the new Weejuns. I hope you can break them in soon so that you can model them sockless. Nothing sexier than a guy wearing preppy Weejuns without socks. Thanks for sharing all the great vids.

  • @stevenmcintosh Seems like they would have been stocked with Christmas returns, but with outlets, sometimes you just have to get lucky :)

  • @flamingvans I struck out. Therer wasn't much there. They did have a toaster oven that I bought at Macy's on sale for $215 for only $99, but it was dirty (i.e. it had been used).

  • @stevenmcintosh I guarantee you won't be able to leave without buying something. And if you run into a bunch of hunky Mormon missionaries trying on shoes... It's hard-on time ;)

  • @flamingvans I'm finally going to be able to check out the Zappos Outlet. Headed to Louisville overnight. I'm from Northern KY and went to WKU for a few years, so I used to travel through there quite a bit. Live in Dayton now and don't get down that way. The last time was 1 1/2 years ago.

  • mmmmhhhh, will count the time, suffering!!!

  • @56dreyer A new video with the Weejuns should be coming up this weekend.

  • did you break them allready, for wearing sockless, or do they any longer hurt like hell and make blsieters and more...., hugs from Ralf
