  • Hello! Do you see your housban very often? My husband is about to get in the airforce, but I'm afraid I won't be able to see him a lot.

  • @anahi719 well a lot depends on his job, and the man power they have. Very hard to say because it can be so different with individual people's experiences. I'm sorry that doesn not help much. At first it seems like he is away a lot with basic training and then tech school right afterwards, it gets better , but there are always deployments too. It's an adjustment that you just can't prepare for in my opinion. You definitely have to be more than flexible.

  • Are wifes mostly stay at home moms? My girlfriend is in college to become a teacher, will that be hard to make happen?

  • @brownbear5434 Hi ! shouldn't be hard at all!~ many wives work part or full time !

  • what base do you live on sounds like my old one

  • Hello!! :) I'm an U.S. Citizen and I'm in Ecuador right now. My girlfriend and I are planning on getting married. I wanted to know if I enlist in the air force could she live with me on base/off base and receive all the benefits since she's not an american citizen? She lives in Ecuador. Both of us really want to be together.. <3

  • @marinas182 Hey girl! well I am very close to my family and yes I miss them - but we skype, and text and call and you kind of adjust and start making new memories with you hubby and the new life you have together- and family reunions are very much anticipated :-)

  • @TheAFwifey Thank you! The only thing I worry about is being with HIM, yet so far away from family. Like my mom.. Has this effected you, or your family?
