Shot on location in Australia, this creative film directed and produced by surfers Adam Blakey and Oscar Wright features some of the world's best wave riders in a fictional story about a group of degenerate surfer-musicians called Doped Youth who go up against formidable opponent Groovy Avalon (Kelly Slater) in the battle of the bands. The film features plenty of surfing footage with Dean Morrison, Ozzy Wright, James Cato, Luke Stedman and other top surfers.

Howdy mate- the song is called 'Astro Girl', by Sydney surf punk three piece Pash.....it was supposed to be on the much-anticipated second record, which was recorded but never published, apart from this track and a couple of others......the band drifted apart sometime in the early 2000's, but still has hopes of a reunion. How do I know this? I was the drummer. Enjoy!
