"Linear" actually doesn't mean "a straight line." So yes, the map does look pretty linear.

@secondgate I think I see where you're coming from, but in actual gameplay, it really is not linear at all. There's a lot of going back and forth (with a purpose!) or you miss a great deal. Sure, you can book it from A to B, but you're going to miss 3/4 of the game.

Can you get an adamantoise as a party member coz that would be pretty game breaking.

@lemonsyay1 I hope so. He'd either be a Sentinel or a Commando. I doubt it would be gamebreaking if it's a SEN. If it's a COM, I bet it would be less damage than you'd expect. Maybe it would be a RAV.

Either way, late game only, definitely.

@lemonsyay1 If you look up Feral Link on the final fantasy wiki, it gives a list of a few members of the paradigm pack, but I really don't think that's all of them, just the ones in trailers. I think there's several hundred available.
