mumming is a very old English tradition, essentially dressing up in costume and entertaining, singing songs and performing short skits. In newfoundland mummers traditionally dress up and travel door to door between Christmas and Twelfth day (Jan 6th) entertaining and are invited in for refreshments in return for their performance.

Aw good ol' Newfie Christmas song. I love it. :) Of course I'd rather the origional version by Simini(or however u spell it. lol.) but I think Great Big Sea done an awesome job singing it too. =) Beautiful pictures as well.
