    I am confident that the US, Canada, Norway and Denmark can peacefully resolve any future disputes in regards to the arctic.

    Canada might want to invest in patrolling its northern territory though. As not every interested party is so amicable.

  • they are also getting helicopters to patrol

  • they are, they are building ice breaking patrol ships, a deep water port and military facility

  • here is something of a conflicting interest... "...aiming for the beaufort sea, where there is much oil...," then blame it on a select few republicans... as if the democratic party would want to drill there anyway (Al Gore and friends, "No offshore drilling!")
