The Best Western Blue Tower Hotel Amsterdam has opened its doors in June 2007. The hotel is situated on the edge of the city centre of Amsterdam at a lively new square. This remarkable hotel, with its entirely blue glass façade, can easily be reached by car from the ring road A10.

Worst hotel experience ever. Management was completely incompetent and rude. We had to have our room switched a bunch of times because one smelled like cat pee, one wasn't ever cleaned, one has a HUGE pillar in the middle of the room, one didn't have the bed we requested.

Me too, 3 weeks 2010. Get one of the upper floor luxury corner rooms. Very sharp, large, bright and airy. And the view is great.
.
Take a train from Schiphol airport to Sloterdijk station then a 2Klm taxi to hotel.
Number 14/7 tram to Dam Square stops every 10 mins around the corner from hotel and takes 20mins.
large supermarkets to the rear offer great cook chill meals. (I heated in sink of vhot water)
Down sides, no fridge and the breakfast was a little pricey.
