  • "Not that puff I said dismayed, yes but he's no puff she cried, he's more than a man than you'll ever be, ere we go 2-3-4"

This era doesn't get any better matey.

  • Fuck me I still like this song after all this time.

Hearing it again, he sounds a bit like a very effete John Lydon (a stretch, I know) crossed with Frank from Some Mothers Do 'ave 'em (The Phantom Of The Opera guy).

The backing band could almost be from The Fall.

    Which I like.

  • "I taught John Travolta how to dance" LOL Gordon you moron.

  • The funniest song ever!

  • Awsome. I can still remember every word (which is sort of scary I think).

  • Playing rhythym guitar with mittens, fucking priceless.

  • i have a neighbor called gordon, total moron

  • @liborsionko yea, I thought that aswell. What a twat!

  • This was bizarre and brilliant. Jilted John opened the door for off-the-wall music videos.

  • @ellycat it does SLF my friend New york dolls

  • This is essential and stands up to the scrutiny of time - unlike Kid Jensen.

It 'rocks', is genuine and cool - despite being something of a parody, and it speaks poetically. Jensen comes across like John's geography teacher - just about approving of the relative AOR sounds of Blondie's 'Picture This' . I want to grab him by the shirt collar and spit 'what kind of DJ can't identify new Rock n Roll when they hear it!?'

  • What's with that intro from Dave 'Kid' Jensen? Boo! Always a tops song. And WHAT a band!
